Almost not "Not Me Monday"

I did not almost forget to post a not me Monday. Are you kidding it's what I look forward to most on Monday's.

I did not give myself a mental pep talk to stay calm and not be afraid while keeping an eye on the Opossum in our chicken coop (see two posts down). I also did not give the opossum a mental threat that if he so much as looked at me funny I'd maybe slice him in two with the carving knife my husband gave me.

I did not kinda feel sad for above opossum because he was going to go hungry that night once we got him out of the coop.

I did not offer to bring "social security pie" to my friends election day party and mention that everyone would only get an 8th of their share of the pie and that is if there is anything left by the time they get to it. (ha ha ha!)

I did not look all week last week for a particular fabric I knew I had stashed somewhere only to give up and go buy something else and then find the fabric I was looking for today ON TOP of the pile I had looked in three times. That would be annoying if I had done that!

I did not totally tell everyone about Mckmama's amazing miracle baby and how God worked it all out for his glory. And, I would not recommend you go read it yourself and share with others.

I am not thinking of a million more things I did not do and could not probably go on, but instead go find someone much more funny than I here at Mckmama's

I always lose things then find them right where they should be and where I know I looked several times. Glad to know it happens to young Mommies too! It thought your Not Me! was quite funny.

I just noticed on your profile that you're about 45 minutes from me! I live in the "big city" south of you. Small world.

Saw your Not-Me post and had to leave a comment. What is "social security pie"? I have never heard of such a thing and am dying to know.

Also, wow, your husband gave you a carving knife? I think the last thing my husband gave me was a sweatshirt. LOL! I am so impressed that you are able to use such a thing.
