This is a Fabulously encouraging book. Though the stories largely talk about starting what could be considered home churches it encouraged me in daily evangelism.

Give away!!!
This purse is the second prototype from Sew Beautiful Designs. That is a fancy way of saying, I designed my own purse cuz I couldn't find one I liked and I made a second one just because.
However, if you like this purse you can win it!
The outside is from Tanya Whelan's Ava Rose collection, and the inside is a pale pink. It can be reversed as there are no raw edges on the inner part of the purse however you would see the stitching when flipped.
The strap is long enough that you can wear it simply over your shoulder or put it over your head for a secure side position. The purse is actually more round than it appears but I put a rectangular book in it to give it dimension and it squared the edges.
To win:
Please leave me a comment on this post and put a number at the bottom of your comment in order of when your comment was left (i.e. if you made the first comment put a number 1 after your wording). April 27th I will draw from the numbers and then announce the winner.
Thanks so much for supporting my hobby!

We're going hunting!
So we went on an egg hunt...Nator drove the tractorMoosekat searched low...
Us girls looked pretty...
Nator drove the tractor...
Oh look, Nator found an egg...on the tractor (ok so I found it and put it in his hand and made him look like he was putting it in the basket for pictures sake...)
Nator does "the happy dance"
And Boo boo princess eats the treasure...
The End.

Spring time makes me crafty
I got inspired by a store display I saw at Peir One (I think). Anyway I made this mobile for Boo boo princess out of left over scrapbook paper, my Cricut meachine, some clear thread, a knitting circle, and some left over tulle. Pretty!
Easter means, time to make a dress! Ok, not really it means a lot more than that! Boo boo princess picked out this pattern and material last week and I got to work!
Real eggs from our chickens.
She really lost her "glass slipper" this wasn't staged at all. Here she is telling me "mom stop taking pictures and help me put my shoe on!

As simple as this dress pattern was and plain too, I really liked the way it turned out with just a few adjustments. (Note the fairy God brother in the background working his magic on some fallen tree limbs. They quickly turned into princes calling the young princess to dance.)
Catching up
First off let me give you a little taste of South Texas Spring (BTW it was 98 degrees today, and I didn't turn on the AC)
Lovely! Makes you want to move here don't it?
